Gordon brings extensive experience in organisational leadership, strategic planning and team development, gained over many years leading complex service-based organisations in the UK and internationally. His career has centred on helping organisations grow sustainably, strengthen systems and culture, and support people to perform at their best.

As a father of three sons, Gordon understands the importance of positive male role models and the difference they can make in shaping confidence, belonging and future pathways. Since retiring, he has committed more of his time to family and to community roles, including serving as a Trustee for the Chelmsford Association for Disabled Sport, where his middle son is a keen participant.

Gordon first encountered Lads Need Dads through his work as a volunteer consultant with the Cranfield Trust. Inspired by the organisation’s mission and impact, he chose to apply his strategic and governance skills more directly by joining the Board as a Non-Executive Director.

He is passionate about strengthening the foundations of Lads Need Dads so the model can grow, replicate and benefit more boys who are navigating life without a present father figure.

Outside his voluntary and family commitments, Gordon enjoys being outdoors and playing golf.
